Request For Quote via Upload Page
To request a quotation via the Upload Page, all the board documentation
listed on the How
to Request a Quotation page must be available in file format. This
will consist of a BOM, net file, schematic and assembly drawing.
Board documentation items such as the net file and
BOM are routinely available from CAD systems. See our CAD
Translation page for a listing of the more common CAD systems. The
schematic and assembly drawings are sometimes more difficult to find in file format.
| TSS can recognize the following file formats for
board drawings and schematics: |
| (1) |
Portable Document
Format (.PDF) files. |
| (2) |
Hewlett-Packard
Graphics Language (HP-GL) files. |
| (3) |
PostScript
(.PS) files. |
| (4) |
Data
Exchange Format (.DXF) files. |
|
| TSS can also recognize the following file formats
for schematic viewing: |
| (1) |
EDIF Graphical
Design (.ED*) files. |
| (2) |
PDIF Graphical
Design (.PDF) files. |
| (3) |
Capture Design (.DSN)
files. |
|
|
| A set of these files will permit TSS to generate
schematics, PCA drawings and PCB fabrication drawings at our own facility. The
schematic and assembly drawing are the primary drawings needed at the time of quotation. Include a brief note in the "Comment" field to
advise how soon delivery is required. Also, be sure we are aware of any
special test requirements and the configuration of your test system.
Sending the above files via the Upload Page will allow TSS to
quickly and accurately prepare a quotation. You will not lose any time in
gathering and packaging paper drawings for overnight shipping. |
