SOURCE FILE REQUIREMENTS -
ALTERA Devices |
ATERA source files must be provided for each device. These files will allow Test
Software Systems to develop test vectors for in-circuit testing.

DEFINITIONS
| The .EDO file is a flattened EDIF-style netlist. |
| The .FIT file defines the external pins. |
TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS to generate .EDO files:

From MAX+Plus II File menu, select PROJECT --> NAME to load your source project. |
| 2. |
From MAX+Plus II Main menu, select COMPILER. |
| 3. |
From MAX+Plus II Interfaces menu, select EDIF NETLIST
WRITER (selection is indicated with a checkmark). |

From Interfaces menu, select EDIF NETLIST WRITER SETTINGS.
Select EDIF version 3.0.
Under CUSTOMIZE, select "Map Illegal EDIF Characters".
Under CUSTOMIZE, select "Include Special Primitives" if logic primitives FILTER
or RISEFALL are used.

From the Compiler window, click START to compile. |

The resultant .EDO file should now be in the proper format and may be forwarded to
TEST SOFTWARE SYSTEMS.
Please include the associated component reference designator with the file. |
